IF it is urgent enough where they will take blood from me (with Hemochromotosis) I would be willing to donate, but I am told that here they will refuse my blood, despite medical information in the West otherwise stating it is perfectly okay to use. The offer is there if needed...
Yep fraid so, You see the recipient may not need a thinned Blood and that could be sooooooo bad for them, any medication gets into the Bloodstream and may have a detrimental effect, here (Surprisingly) they are being so careful
There does not seem to be an age Limit at Hospitals just that you are not taking medications. I am not sure it was Stated where the patient is just a phone number but I know SUMC will let you Donate. Ah sorry yes, it is at Holy Child, you can but try
I was told by the Blood Doc that my blood would 'hurt a Filipino causing them much pain therefore is highly unsuitable.' Yet I cannot find anywhere online that states my blood would cause pain or be in any way unsafe to use in a transfusion... All I can say is; "If anyone needs a life saving A+ transfusion here and is fine with my blood (do the online search for yourself) then I am willing to donate...
I am sure that there is also a cut off on age Jim so most likely not, 'depending on who is on duty that day'...
