Azalea indeed does have too many "out of stock" and too few customers, which, of course, is a vicious cycle. However, what they do have is pretty good, like the adobo and the korean beef, and the quiet and scenery are worth the occasional trip. Did get a chuckle out of the "ham and cheese," sad.

And sort of surprising, because the restaurant's owners are closely related to a couple of good restaurant places in town, one of which is Kri, which also seems to have "out of stock" problems occasionally. That's also surprising, because it is usually pretty full. Somebody ain't watchin' the inventory, or the vendors are not as reliable as cebu.

The menu cards had changed since the last time i was there, yes they used to have a not bad menu and yes it sometimes took a while for it to come but the views were worth the wait.
Maybe someone will prove us wrong with the quality of the food maybe be not. This is why i questioned if it had changed hands as was such a poor menu and quality. And kids cooking who had no idea what so ever.
It does surprise me though as i know the road up tontwin lakes is concrete all the way now and im sure they must get more customers or maybe thats why we were the only ones there!

Best fancy dining I have found is El Dorado in Dauin. I was impressed by the good selections at El Dorado. It is typical resort food but the prices are quite good and the selections are great. 7 people were stuffed for about 4,000 pesos and that's with appetizers, a couple drinks each, main courses and dessert. Entrance fee is 200 but it is all consumable. Its pretty fancy at that price.

Hi GK, palihog, could you be slightly more specific, would be appreciated ?? Edison might appreciate it too. The only problem we ever had was things not arriving together (no other restaurant in the province except Salaya does this consistently). And considering prices, the SIZE of the portions is not a valid comment.

Not much seating (though they said they take reservations-but failed to supply a phone number after being asked)
Waitstaff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the lunch rush.

Aircon was apparently off, as was the large ceiling fan-not helped by waitstaff leaving door to outside eating area open instead of closing it immediately each time they went out to serve someone. We were already seated outside after sitting inside for 15min or so, and it didn't matter to us but I noticed the inability to close the door.

My towering double burger beef brisket thing was a mess to eat and not handled well by the cheapo napkins. I'd prefer two patties/buns on the plate like their pork sandwich offering instead of something that falls apart right away-anyone can stack a bunch of stuff on top of a piece of meat, but that doesn't make it gourmet.

The beef brisket was a bit tough and though it may be some sort of a touch of class, I wouldn't order it again..

Lunch menu is a bit limited

Kind of like going to Gabby's..."it's food" but there are other places to go. Cheap prices-I don't know how they'll stay open
My wife liked her tuna, but didn't care for the oily string potatoes.

It's "ok" but so are a lot of other places. I know Adamo's all the rage currently, but other than for it's low prices I don't see why

    Sorry
