Utilities & Mobile Shipping FROM Dumaguete area TO U.S.

Does anyone have any idea the best way to ship a watch from Dumaguete area TO the United States? I've tried LBC only to be told they don't ship watches or jewelry of any kind and if they were to ship even documents it would cost me around 1300p for express and that is the only method they could ship it..express.. JRS said pretty much the same, I'm not sure about the local post office or any other couriers. But I am shipping just a simple watch (weighs maybe 3 - 3.5 grams) or whatever a typical watch weighs, as a gift, and I'm looking for the cheapest way possible to send. TIME is not an issue. dont need it insured or anything else. So the slowest, cheapest option is the best. Anyone have any ideas?

Not yet, that was my last resort but they usually try giving me the run around thats why they were last on my list. I was hoping someone had actually successfully accomplished this in the past..and how they went about doing it??

 

if time is not an issue maybe just meet up with a DI member who is heading to the states for a visit and have them pop it in the mail when they get there..safe and cheap

 

thats not a bad idea. Hopefully someone will read this and send me a msg if they plan on visiting the states anytime soon.
