A friend of mine just bought a car and d*mn, when the sun hits the windows it becomes a mobile green house. Cant but a 2 ton aircon on the car so window tinting might be a better idea.
Where can he get the UV tint? preferably installed by someone skilled lol.

Some people like dark tint but even 'limo' tint is out performed by UV tint regardless of how much tint. Much is written about it and proved to my satisfaction from tinting windows in my vehicles in the US.

You can have it done at almost any local....
Oh. I don't know. Anyone with a quality skill set seems to leave the country ASAP.

Try Ramen Glass downtown Dumaguete across the street from the police station. I had it done there about 5 years ago and they did a good job. Used 3M brand which is good. Don't go too dark though as it's too hard to see at night. But stick with the 3M product. I had the windshield done only for about 6 or 8 inches down.

If they are using 3M then they should have the UV product. I agree with the not being so dark. A very dark shade may look cool but the UV factor is what actually keeps you cool.

Totally Agree here, I went for the damask which is 1/2 way unlike Charlie I went the whole thing mainly because of the Areas we travel and the sun angles varying so much at times & can I add, the time of day you travel

Scuds, about one click away from Hypermart towards Valencia, I had my windows tinted there about 2 weeks ago with 3m and am very satisfied.

Sure ... I had the two front windows stripped and re-tinted with 3M for 1500 peso, it would have been 1000 if I used the house tint... hope that helps
