Cebu - A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on Thursday at 5:00 pm in the city district Gun-ob in Lapu-Lapu City, with a covert deployment of the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Office in Central Visayas (RACO-7). - klajoo.com - The RACO chief Leo Dofiles identified as the woman as Marrisa Aumentado, resident in the city district Calawisan in Lapu-Lapu City. Aumentado was arrested when she received 5,000 PHP from a money transfer company. The second suspect of Ladyboy Rodmar (24), the son of Aumentado could not be arrested. Dofiles says the mother and her son had been threatened by the 26-year-old American to put a video in which the American himself was satisfying online. The video had taken Aumentado and Rodmar on May 12th. Rodmar has been known as a minor girl named Katrina, which is why the American had passed a 100,000 PHP to Aumentado. The American lives in New York,
Arrested for..........? Arrested for..........? Did the American pay them to watch him yank his noodle and "threaten" some type of action against them if they didn't? And just what was he going to do to them from New York? Sounds like a lame defense for.....whatever crime they committed. So an adult ladyboy was "known as a minor girl name Katrina"? And? He isn't a minor girl...or even a minor (and I highly doubt a 24 year old biological man even remotely looks like a minor girl) so it doesn't really matter. I mean....I'm just.....FFS! WTF is this article even about? What crime was committed? If the American is in the US he broke no law by watching a cam.....girl.....boy.....ladyboy....that is acting as a minor but really isn't a minor. And I thought it was P5k. Now it is P100k? How did they get caught? This can't be the original language this article was written in. Edit: Ahhhh. I see. The Anti-Cybercrime unit set up a bust with the P5k.
The article specifies klajoo.com which is not an English site. Here is the English version from Sunstar News Woman nabbed in Lapu-Lapu City for extortion Marissa and Rodmark will face a complaint for robbery-extortion in relation to violating Republic Act 10175, or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.
Saw this in Sunstar. Haven't read the quoted article on this site, but memory/at a glance stuff here...it seems that both the Filipinos were arrested and charged for extortion. Said Yank was yanking himself on cam and the Filipinos recorded it, threatened to post it to his Facebook/any other Social Media site you could name. They were demanding P5k and more. Said US citizen was in his mid twenties and I can't remember how the Pulis got involved (think they were under surveillance). Anyway, the Sunstar had a photograph of the 44 year old Filipina. I mean, I wouldn't, not even after several gallons of Red Horse...let alone on cam. Bet the midwife slapped the afterbirth and chucked the baby. Ewwww.
