need a roof for 7 please

expat with filippino family. 5 great youngsters (3 to 11 yrs old evenly spaced) and fantastic wife moving to Dumaguete in a few weeks. living in Tacloban City now. need any and all info on transportation (what! no uhaul?!). is there a car ferry from ormoc? and what's the house rental situation? paying 6k/mo+ now for 4/2. is that possible there also? larger house would be nice too.
ain't got a lot of dough (with 5 mouths to feed who could?) but not destitute. professional musician and writer -- neither pays much. we make it on a small investment and tight budget. looking for a more intellectually stimulating environment for the children (and me too for that matter), a little cleaner with more nature and space. Dumaguete sounds ideal.
Will also need a part-time tutor; we're home-schooling. If anyone could kindly gimmie a few pointers, advice, or contacts i'd be most appreciative...
