Hello, I've been looking around the forum, but not found anything. I'm new here and don't know anyone to ask about this delicate below the belt matter. Yes, so basically can anyone recommend a decently competent all round GP/DR or Medical Centre that ideally would have some experience with Urology/Prostate? I'm pretty sure it's not the obvious, so I just need a check up. Thanks in advance. Nick
Dr Jonny yee GP, holy child hospital. He sees a lot of expats. See his secretary at about 8.30 am and ask if you can see him when he gets in at about 10.30/11.00am.
Thanks Brendan, i appreciate the advice. Your answer also lead me to this post (which may be useful for anyone else looking to make a Med choice): Health & Wellness - Experience at Holy Child Hospital A rough (non-scientific) consensus seems to be: 60% for Holy Child 30% for Silliman 10% Just go to to Cebu 100% don't let them keep you in longer than you feel is right. Albeit, a few people say its the Dr that's more important than the establishment. Makes sense. So i'll begin with Dr Jonny at HC. Cheers Nick
PS: Assume this means I have to actually walk in at 8:30 to get best chance of being seen before noon? No appointments? No of course, that would make too much sense..
No appointments as such, but the secretary will put your name down and will probably say come back after 10.30. I have done this twice now and have returned between 10.30 and 11am and been seen within 5 mins of my appearance.
VERY impressed with him. He had the opportunity to demonstrate his sewing skills yesterday on my knee - after I broke the "highly skilled driver's" taillight in front of me because he slammed on his breaks to let an oncoming car turn left into Ecoville. I would have been able to stop in time but my rear tire slid on road debris from the last accident there.
For urinary tract and prostate, the doctor Marc Juvic S. Baviera, M.D. in Medical Center and Holy Child Hospital is good.
