I presume it's limited number of burners for cooking. An issue especially when restaurant is busy. At Mooon Cafe, Robinson's, I detected a group obviously on lunch break being served before others.

My guess is they only have a few burners to cook food on and/or the staff has not been trained to multitask. It is what it is. Something you just have to get used to.

You are right but not about the Burners, Moons food is Cooked in their Kitchens on the Batinguel Road and delivered Chilled if not frozen to the two locations, the problem to me is the lack of Microwaves, I am not a lover of microwaved food but both Moon and Sans Rival use the same system. :cigar:its as you say "what it is" and yes we must persevere with the end product as I have on many occasions had Food served still Cold (Frozen even) But what can we do? :cautious:

    I don't know.
In my opinion what we can do is; stop tipping and when we pay the Bill let them know why there is no Tip? we all know that waiting staff for the most part are poorly paid, but we have to stop feeling sorry for them, it is not always their fault that the meals are not well timed, but if their tips are down just maybe they will turn to the manager/owner to address the problem?
Another annoyance I find eating out here is the flies that hover over the tables, the reason for that is; the tables will be dirty with food residue, because they use the same cloth all day and usually they are dirty brown rags, take a tissue or wet wipe over the tables or bars here and you are likely to find that it will be heavily stained? the same goes for the mopping of floors here they wet the mop once and clean 50 square metres of the floor and do not rinse out the mop again,
I used to live very near a Restaurant and would eat there often, after a time I realised it is one place without flies, the tables were all Glass so they had to be cleaned properly to stop them getting streaky marks on them.
Stop tipping when there is poor service and unclean tables (carry a small pack of wet wipes) and let the staff know why there is no Tip, also hit them hard on Trip Advisor then the complaints are more likely to get back to the owner?

I finally made it to Spices for lunch. I enjoyed the yellow chicken curry and recommend it. I had a fruit shake that was also very good. They were out of many Indian dishes but told me the ingrediants will arrive soon and I will try out the Marsala when they arrive. I had the naan bread instead of rice.
The restaurant was spotless, three wall fans were on, and a nice breeze flowing through the open windows. Service was excellent.
I saw a refrigerator with plenty of cold beer. They also have wine from Australia and Chili.
So it is great to have a spicey-food restaurant here.

Sorry Spring, gotta agree with Davy, Rollin Pin has best croissants, best cinnamon rolls (subject to better idea).. Now i'll also say english muffins, but somebody must know where we can get an "english" english muffin ??? Good bread too, but NEVER ask them to slice it unless you like slices an inch thick. The little place after the check out at Rob Supr Mkt is good sliced whole wheat. For PIES, try Nona's, kiosk on the right side of the Robinson's Mall stage, outside Jollibees...
