Jeepney robbed this evening near Siaton, no one was hurt, only collector was robbed of around the huge amount of 1000 pesos, no passengers were hurt or robbed. The news comes from Bongo bongo telegraph outside the police station in Siaton, sounds credible

Pretty pathetic take. Hardly seems worth the effort.

To many, I agree .... but to an alcoholic that amount buys maybe 10 bottles of rum and to a drug user an amount (I have absolutely no idea of drug prices, fortunately) which may sustain him even a little while. I think that to leave even P500 on display in a car would invite a broken window and its theft. Also, a robber does not always know how much he will obtain before he starts his act - once he finds it is 'only' 1000 then I am sure he will not discard it in disgust.

Looks like it was a Ceres bus, not a Jeep

Obviously not a criminal mastermind or he would have taken the more traditional approach, having committed a crime, of fleeing the scene rather than hanging around till the police turned up to arrest him!!!

PDEA: 'Shabu' still the top choice
You can abuse 1 gram of speed for about 7 days...or use it for about 2 weeks to 1 month. But you probably aren't getting a full gram with P3k...according to that article, which is well over a year old.

Interesting article, was this the police report? It seems to imply the suspect was robbed at gun point, and I love how they fled to the "dark portion of the place".....sounds like the makings of a horror novel. :2rofl:

This is a Facebook Page. I think many of their reports are taken from the Police blotters. They do a fairly good job of reporting the local news. They never seem to editorialize the stories.
