Having told someone only yesterday that I have never experienced an earthquake (as they all have previously been at night time and when I sleep I am out), I then felt my armchair shift in two jolts tonight. It was a short duration back and forwards movement and I now wish I had been doing something else at the time as at my age any help is welcome . Two others, who were standing, did not feel anything.
