Cute little city....I recommend it! Electric tricycles used...good deal. But, there are many, many motorbikes! Lots of ladies there too for you interested people
An update: Bayawan is on the way to get its first full service shopping mall: a Puregold. Currently they are making the foundation. First it was planned a two floor mall but they changed the project and will now build three floors instead. A novum is also that it will get the first full Puregold department store. Question: Is it allowed to post a link here from another forum, which is a great source about construction project?
I visit Bayawan several times, though can't say I'm familiar with all there. I like to visit there, live there, no thanks, will die of boredom. It just tells me we are all different with a different point of view what's important for us
There are some more upcoming projects like some adventure parks and also a sport complex. Ok what is better? To live in a soon muslim overrun country in Europe (France, Sweden, Germany and so on) or in a small philippine town with still affordable houses? Dumaguete started to hit the moon with the real estate prices. Darn I should had to buy that big house and lot in Dumaguete several years ago for a bit more than 3.5m PHP. That would be more than 7m php now. But I was near of out of money due loss of my job.
I know of a nice Western built double story house, very solid, smack on the beach on 1,000m2 for 4M php on a different Island (Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro) if you are interested... Belongs to a friends Father, has been sitting now for two years and he has decided to sell it, will need a bit of a tidy up (cosmetics) but looks very nice in pics and video... I can PM you a link if you are interested.
Thank you for that offer. But it seems to be the wrong location for me. I like to have a somewhat decent hospital in the area and that seems not to be true in Mamburao. Bayawan seems to be a better location for a living with all the future upgrades coming soon.
