i recently talked to a person whose water was disconnected for not paying the bill for 4 months. costs as follows: 4 bills, may thru august 1405+300 reconnection fee = ₱1705 total does that sound right? i've lived in 6 different rentals on this end of the island and never had a water bill so i have no idea. i should add that this is for a family of 2 adults and a 10 year old. thanks...
Dumaguete water is alot more expensive than the surrounding areas. I think the cheapest is valencia or bacong.
Sounds about right, P350 per month on average. Depends on their usage, the way they calculate your tier here is something I never experienced, but once explained it seemed right. I remember when we moved into this place. The first month the water bill was P250. I had a representative from the water company come by and wonder why all of a sudden it was so low, they wondered if there was a business being run out of residential place before. I told them that the wife and I had just moved in, only the two of us and sometimes so visitors. No problems. Last apartment I rented for long term also had one night or other short term rats, they charged everyone the commercial rate, hence a higher bill.
My average bill is about 300 a month and it sounds your a bit higher but then have a kid. But yah, like others have said different rates depending on how they view your place along with the more you use the higher the rate as well I think if you go above what they consider the normal filipino family use.
Sounds right, that's our house average for two people, a dog, and garden watering, been here two years...
