Greetings As you may know i have posted about living in the Philippines on a pension' I have received a few constructive posts and in the main it is doable with the caveat have a back up plan and put money aside for unforeseen costs. medical treatment and Visa costs Reviewing You Tube it seems at least to me many of you have wife's or partners same as in Thailand, yet so far no one has commented on the costs of living as a couple. in my soi there are two Aussie Pensioners myself and one other, The other OAP is married to a Thai and they have three children his pension is reduced to about 30,000 baht $1300 because he is married, I have a Paid Career and my Pension is roughly $4000.0 more Aussie pensioners will understand the difference so i am a non smoker, and basically a non Drinker, so if I had a # career# in P.I how would that affect my Budget? I will not bore yo all with the many questions rattling around in my head I think I should do a recce early next year and come and see for my self. Thank you all once again. PS I am not a Troll or a keyboard warrior TTFN
