You seem an intelligent person, so I think you know the reason I put "If" at the beginning of my sentence.

You think I actually care??? In the problems of the world we live in today, do you think this is a major issue?

OK, fine. No problem, really. You are just making it all up, that there may be changes to the BB waiver. You admit it. That’s cool. Peace.

My take on the comment, and I care because I have a BB right now, was that things change in the Philippines. Not giving a heads up about some specific change coming, just meaning once you been here for a while you don't get surprised by changes - especially from the BI.

OK, so there is nothing concrete that we know of right now and I agree that these things change all the time. If you talk about BB, the worse thing for many would be the enforcement of the original RA which required 1 years absence from the Phils before renewing the privilege again. Actually it is not that bad because even without BB one could begin the 3 year tourists visa extension process which is another common method of staying here although there you must pay lots of pesos and visit BI every two months. BB is a lot easier. Anybody following what Thailand is doing, now requiring about 25k usd in the bank before renewing their annual visa. They will check your bank account few months after renewal to make sure you have not paid back a temporary loan to skirt the requirement. The Phils has got to be the easiest country in Asia when it comes to expat immigration issues.
