    ACR Card - the definative (latest) Dumaguete answer

    I think I already paid for mine twice - anyway as I'm getting ready to leave I thought I better go to BI dumaguete to see if I could physically get the card.

    One of the cuties there directly answered my questions - It is used to speed up exit and entry to the Philippines - I should be shown upon re-entry. - Well we'll see next time.

    I got the card and btw there is a box there with close to a thousand cards waiting to be picked up - so if you've paid the money your card is probably at the BI office

    Un real. I have a BB visa and when I tried to open a bank account, they asked for an ACR card. Easy fix (did not open an account). Now I do intend to drive so went today to get Phils licence and am told I need an ACR card. (place rant here) Now I need to go to Duma and experience the (place rant here) end.

    Just go to bais lto and buy one without any hassle. Alot less strict up there.

    I paid fir a renewed ACR-i card and was told to come back in 3 weeks to pick it up, went back and no luck, wasn't ready for pick up yet.

    I left the country 2 weeks later and just before i did i decided to check again and after 5 weeks, still no luck, wasn't ready yet.

    I guess it should be ready when i come back in 2 weeks time.
