    Last night decided to try Curry House as in town. The place was neat and tidy, seating a little sparce how ever adequate.

    Service was attentive (boyot) an polite, had the pleasure of meeting the owner whom was very talkative and pleasant.

    Ordered chicken korma with naan, meal arrived in 30 minutes and was generous an delicious, extremely orthentic. Spice was mild although I was not asked about this when ordering. For those unfamiliar with Indian food the excess use of ginger does increase the spiciness of food. Give ger is heavily used in Indian food.

    It's a place I will be going to each time I am in town, highly recommended.

    Now even me found the ROTI BOSS and that makes me happy cause since my years I spent in the UK I love Indian Food, so I missed it in the last Years in Dumaguete.
    I'm sure it will run cause the meals are very good!

    We ate at biryani point last week and i can say the food is probably the best indian food ive had anywhere. Anyone who has not tasted chai should also taste it. (Massala tea). As always sayyed was courteous and friendly with good service.

    Most indian foods use dry spices. Would be easy to ship it over from the States to PI using LBC.
    Aside from dry spices, the only other items that you'd need are yogurt/curd, ginger, garlic, lemon, onion etc. These things are available in PI.

    Even other fresh items like curry leaves, mint, if not available could be grown in PI i'm sure.

    I had the lamb biryani there last week, it was either mutton or goat and was all bones, 399 peso's for a table spoon of meat if you picked it all off the bones.. the taste was nice but lacked meat..

    Fresh mint, coriander available in most supermarkets or PAO market(near Prov hospital), but go early there as a lot of demand when in season. There is a back street Indian 'hole in the wall' type shop in Cebu City, that sells pre-made curry powder, packs of whole seeds(e.g. cardamom, coriander, cumin etc etc), Basmati rice, in Mandauae City along the road(Cuenco Ave?) from Kiwi hotel(old Kiwi lodge). Difficult to find, but well worth the trek. If you're lucky enough they may be selling freshly made onion Bhadjis(spelling) when you arrive. Will try to find the address, as I have it in my GPS, when going to Cebu.
