My tenants aircon seems to be drawing more power than before, It's only 13 months old split type 1 Hp. Just had it completely cleaned. last reading 27 kw 24 hours, before he says only 16 Kw 24 hours. I noticed his bill was a lot more than before. Mine is still the same. Anybody can recommend an aircon technician please.

I went to polaris first but they said they were busy, maybe If I got one of those Kill a watt plug in device, that would tell me how many watts it's drawing! Seen those on Lazada.

Could be a faulty Thermostat, he says, he has it on 26c but said it's very cold, might be 16c and drawing to much power!

Have used frozen tribe for three years for cleaning, every six months. Techs are good, Might ask Ed Garcia (owner in 2016) about REPAIRS and get refs. Haven't needed repairs, yet... (yet)...

about 075 Kwh less if the room is already at the desired temp
How much electricity does a 1 hp aircon use?
A joule is a measure of work in the International System of Units. This definition gives rise to the conversion factor between the horsepower and the watt. 1 hp = 745.7 watts. Because 1 kW = 1,000 watts, 1 hp = 0.7457 kW.
