What is the best and quickest mode (USPS/FEDEX/DHL etc) to "Legally" ship/mail personal medications From USA-Dumaguete? Iam told by Express Scripts our TRICARE (HUMANA) home delivery prescription service they are not able to mail to overseas addresses including APO or FPO's. Do you have any experience sending US prescriptions to Dumaguete? How long does it normally take to receive them? Any custom issues / Cost? % of not recieving them due to getting "Lost"

I know we can buy most prescriptions at Mercury (TRICARE acceptable), buy my wife (Dual cit) has 2ea Rheumatoid Arthritis medications that are not available in the Philippines, and prefer not to go to Thailand to refill or change to a diff prescriptions which is available in the Philippines.

Both my wife and I have spent a 3-4 months a year for the past 10 years in Dumaguete, and now planning on spending 9 months a year there.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks, Was not aware of this site. May use it for other items. Unfortunately it seems medications (Medicine) are on the prohibited list.

    Narcotic medicines would be prohibited.

Liquids are banned...but they will ship up to...2 bottles of wine.

We have our son pick up the medication at his local pharmacy in the US. We don’t ship US controlled substances; for one thing the rules are getting very strict over there. He would have to get the original prescription at doctors office and then show suitable ID to have it filled; it may not be possible to do this. We have a medication, a synthetic thyroid hormone, that is not available here, only in the US. Apparently treatment regimen is different here but doesn’t work as well. For the prescription non-narcotic medication he does ship, we use the “expensive” (around $200) DHL option. We never had to pay customs and it has good tracking, arriving here in 7-10 days. The customs paperwork is always honest as to contents and we have never had a problem. I myself use an online Singapore pharmacy for a non-narcotic pain reliever which is legal but not available here for some reason. I never had any problems with that. Not so much a “medication” but still prescribed to me for life is vitamin B-100. It contains most of the B vitamins in doses of 100 (mg) thus the name. Although specific b vitamins are available here, I cannot find B-100 so I purchase a large amount when in the US and online here when needed, usually from lazada but now they are out of stock.

Thanks, Also good info. Guess $200 DHL is better then a round trip ticket to Florida and back. Last option would be for my wife's Rheumatologist change her meds to one's that are available in the Philippines. But that's a last option since they are working pretty good for her.

I ordered CBD capsules from the USA, on a number of occasions in the recent past, for my dogs. Didn't seem to be a problem when sending into Philippines.
