Shopping Mall Meat Seized

This is a gross understatement. Imported pork from the wrong countries puts the Philippine pork industry in peril. The person who did this put the country's pork industry at risk. Many countries are battling the African Swine Fever epidemic. It can destroy an entire pork industry. In the first half of the year 3,000,000 hogs had to be culled in Vietnam. The Philippines is already poor. No need to destroy one of the country's sources of protein.

I was at Robinsons Mall yesterday , when I got near the meat section it had a nauseating smell , want to make you throw up.

 

On our last trip in February, we returned to the USA with 98 kilos of dried fish from the Dauin market. Customs had no problem with the fish. The half eaten snack bag of pork rinds given to asawa by the stewardess on our philair flight was confiscated by customs in Dallas.
