    That is a bit confusing, first you say "make sure you have and carry along actual OR..." then you say "I always keep a good color Xerox.." Keeping a Legible Copy on the Bike (or on you) is perfectly adequate. Don't risk losing the Original. I have had no issues at checkpoints showing a copy either.

    they call the receipt OR and a copy of that should do it.

    Yes the vendor should supply registration and 1 or 2 helmets. Insurance is never asked for.

    I agree totally but the law is another grey area with some wiggle room if you have a good lawyer. The law states the vehicle must be operating/ being driven before it can be arrested by the LTO. or wording to that effect.. Filipino English.

    Just make sure your vehicle has a good lawyer after it gets arrested. A good lawyer will know your vehicle’s rights.

    I do see alot more helmets around the area. And now, what truly mystifies me, is how many are wearing helmets with the chin strap dangling! That's actually worse if you're in an accident. If you're gonna wear the dang thing, why not wear it properly to take advantage of the little safety it affords?
