I’ve been here two years and know I need one from Cebu. I’ve heard wait times from 2 hours to 3 days. Has anyone got a recent time update? Plus; which location best, how many photos, and anything else to take? Thx
look online for the requirements but location is J mall in Cebu, get there at 8 am and should have your release sometime in afternoon (I and everyone I know got theirs same day but no guarantees.) You can round trip on Cebu PAC if you take the 6 am to Cebu and 450 pm to Duma
Take 5 like I did as you never know when they change the rules... they only used one of mine also but better be safe
I've been here 3 years and never needed one, got my SRRV (Senior Retirement Residence Visa) 4 months after i got here. If you're staying and meet requirements (check out other sites), it's pretty easy to get. And if you're ex US military, you can cut the deposit by 86%... Just another consideration.
Arriving by air on the flights mentioned above, I got to the office about an hour early. This was about one year ago. A cafe just outside was open. The office was actually taking applications at around 7:30 a.m. However, the desk clerk was not the regular, and omitted to include something, I forget what. I inquired in the afternoon and got it straightened out. I made the return flight to Dumaguete.
