Hello all, I am from Alberta Canada, married to my Filipina for 16 years now, we have a house in Moalboal. I have been to the Philippines many times, the last 2 times was for six months, and we'll be returning in 2020 for six months. Now that I am retired, we will be making plans for living their full time in the near future. I always find forums like this most helpful, and hope that I can be of some help also. I may not be living in Dumaguete, but I visit there at least once a year to visit my cousin in Valencia.

Good to know. Actually I lived in most the Provinces at one time or another. As far as Alberta, was in Wainwright and Edmonton while in the Forces. Seriously cold as you know.Visited Calgary and Lethbridge also. Found BC to be the most beautiful. Ontario was too cold and same for Nova Scotia. Don't miss the cold . Cheers

Though I am not a Canadian citizen, really do love the country and it's people, obviously I did only meet very nice people. Visited Alberta (Calgary was my starting point) and BC but did not make it to Vancouver. Made a round trip during 23 days (over 4500km) and seen many places I can still watch on the video I made.

Good to hear you enjoyed it. Vancouver would have been a highlight. I myself drove twice cross all of Canada on Motorcycle (a real one) and it was a fantastic adventure.
