Fishing near Dumaguete

My 7 yo daughter wants to go fishing, not Filipino style. She has an open face reel and rod, with basic tackle. The fishing line is way to small.

I've had the best luck with those striped snakehead using smaller (1/4 - 3/8oz) spinnerbaits or the chatterbait style lures.

 

First I decide to don't make a comment to your post but I want to ask you, what do you take to make you see Fata Morgana? Do you have any leftover? I already post Optimas are closed down and have been that for around a year, a new store on that place, no fishing gear, but you can lend money if you are creditworthy, sorry but don't use peoples time to go there

Hi Liverpool Fan, I know this is an older post but I thought I would try anyway. I have a in town (Dumaguete) visiting that want to go fishing. He will old be here a couple of more days and I have been trying to find a way for him to fish. I can't even find a place to buy a fishing rod and supplies. I would appreciate any help.
