Hi, I'm looking for any advice on how to go about getting some type of ID for my girlfriend who doesn't have possession of her birth certificate or any other previous form of official ID. Any recommendations?

Get her to apply for a Postal ID from the post office... this is widely accepted as a photo ID.

Another option is a Student Driving Permit (licence) from the LTO.

Postal ID still requires a birth cert though, Mike.

First thing would be going to the Nso to try and get her birth cert.

The aforementioned National Statistics Office is in Bagacay, on the road to Valencia, a few steps past Hypermart Square.

Nothing positive is going to happen, unless you/she goes to the NSO, there are plenty of scenarios open to the NSO in regards to getting an official ID

My Filipino mother-in-law had her birth first registered when she was 70.
