Today we needed to draw out more than the ATM daily limit so went to the bank at 9.25am, they open at 9.30am we get our queue ticket and are called to the teller at 9.45am, all going well and then IT happened, sorry we have no cash yet we can only do deposits or non cash transactions. So we wait, 10.15am called to the teller again and job done, a minor delay you may say but even though we sat in air conditioned luxury it was still 30 minutes we will never get back. I may be too much of a lateral thinker but if it takes 45 mins to get cash to the tellers then the bank surely should not open until 10.15am, just as a bar should not open if it has no beer or a petrol station should not open if it has no petrol. Lesson learned, don't think you can bypass the long wait at the bank by going early.
well RCBC is our bank. never had that kind of problem with them so far. they open at 9 a m and always have been ready to do any business we request
I've been advised at BPI to make arrangement ahead of time if wishing to withdraw US$ in a large amount. Never had that eventuality for (travel) amounts I withdraw.
