Just after some local info here if possible. I have an Abdominal Hernia which has slowly increased in size over the past few years. Can anybody recommend a Doctor/Specialist here in Dumaguete who would be competent enough to check this out for me. Thanks in advance.
twer me i would go to johnny yee MD at holy child hospital and spend 300 pesos for his opinion about it. most hernias are a pretty simple surgical repair and a pretty common surgery. Dr. Yee is board certified in family practice and i have found his counsel to be very helpful for the past four years or so. on two separate visits he suggested meds that solved long standing issues for me that i brought here from the states
Having experienced two hernia operations over the years, I would opt for keyhole surgery, but that's just my experience of both types of operations. A straight forward procedure to mend, however without worrying you too much a strangulated hernia can be dangerous so would advise you to have it checked out before anything like that happens.
