Coronavirus Causing Local Panic Buying

It is just protecting the genes, isn't it? Exactly what evolution desires.

 

And the Philippines is still looking safer than most Western countries we come from!

 

Yesterday lines at hypermart were long long long!!! Baskets filled to the brim turned around walked out

 

Just this morning, my partner went shopping at hypermart and he said the lines were very long with people carrying big carts filled with groceries..same with
Robinsons mall, so yeah! Panic buying is real!

 

I am at Hypermart right now waiting for my wife. True, the lines are long but the store is very well stocked and people or very orderly (not what I would call “panic” buying). All lines have checkout clerks working so I think Hypermart is handling this well. You might spend an hour waiting in line.

My wife just returned from Lee Plaza. She said it was fine. Not too many people and shelves well stocked

 

Just came home from Hypermart, wait 1 hour and 20 min in the cafe while gf was in line, staff do a great job, for sure people panic buying lot of same items, alcohol out of stock but peoples behavior is nice not like where I come from in Denmark, police has been out in the malls for fights and arrest people who through around with goods from the shelves, selfish behavior lol

She asks me to go out, she knows how I feel about stand in line, I'm impressed about Filipino patience in general, I can't handle these situations and avoid them, would go again without shopping if I was alone, but need a birthday present for neighbour kid and was low in food. I would never force my gf to do things she doesn't want to do, just want to let you know

 

No chance I would think that - as I said in another post recently, we can tell the nature of a person by what they post here.
