    I just heard from Tom, he is in Copenhagen and arranging his final leg to Norway. He is very happy he managed to get on the boat. There was no charge and the Tourist Department picked them up by bus and took them to the Savoy hotel, then he took a taxi to the airport.

    I partly agree with your statement about idiots, for example that panic buying. But some people may have a very valid reason to leave the Phils and trying to get back to their home country. So if a chartered boat can bring you from Negros to Cebu where no other means of transport are available it was a boat to somewhere iso nowhere.
