For those of you looking to avoid the panic buying lines in the supermarkets, there is now online grocery shopping in Dumaguete. It’s done through an app called Cartspree. Mixed reviews and I have not tried it myself. Some love it and others are complaining that most stocks are unavailable. It’s an option anyway, in case things take a turn for the worse.

Had a new on line experience with grocery shopping today. The wife went shopping and she kept taking pictures of items and sending them to me and asking if that was what I wanted? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

For those who don’t have personal shoppers aka “asawas,” another alternative to online grocery shopping is Tiange NegOr on Facebook. They charge Php65 for every delivery but to get this delivery rate, you need to get everything from one vendor.

Thanks for the link. I immediately checked the Tiange NegOr Facebook page, where they announce and explain cessation of service as of today. I was not surprised, after seeing that the supplier is "Dumaguete Market".

Wondering if there any other grocery store delivery services other than the two mention here. I can't imagine one or two services mentioned in this thread could keep up with rising demand. Are others coming online? (other than restaurant/prepared meals) I have not been out myself since the 21st. I'm over 65.

Cangs is running a site called www.cartspree.com, I have not visited it yet but my landlord gave us all a list of delivery food and shopping. Also Belcris at (035) 420- 9248 is doing delivery on orders of 2,000p or more according to this list, might want to give them a call.
