The councilor is (surprise, surprise) a bit out of sync with some local stores also. Lee Plaza & Hypermart just announced new hours for the ECQ - Mon-Sat: 9-to-5, closed on Sundays. I think some of those suburbanites are going to be disappointed if they come into town on a Sunday...
i don't understand why valencia and bacong would close the fresh markets, cept that the people in charge don't value fresh foods and or, have a personal interest in a sari-sari, mini-mart, etc. valencia has a huge sports field where venders could spread out, bacong has the concrete fish area and the adjacent hiway sidewalk where the lanzone venders set up; it wouldn't be that hard to maintain physical distancing. what's to happen with the fresh produce farmer's have taken months to grow? store brought shrink wrapped/foam trays produce leaves something to desire...
Can you get on their organising committee(s) or are aliens excluded? There is a saying 'one hand not knowing what the other hand is doing' which I like to think of as 'the rectum not knowing what the anus is doing'. The result is piles of shite.
Its going on 9pm and I still dont have a QP from my barangay. They said they’ll be doing house to house deliveries for the pass when they’ve finished printing it. I have been to the barangay hall 4x this past week and was told three different things, and i’ve just about had it. Its doing my head in how illogical some decisions are and I just cant wait for this quarantine sh1tshow to be over. I just want my d@mned pass, if its not too much to ask!
hang on, i'm sure they are overwhelmed and doing their best. i was at the sibulan barangay hall at 8am this morning (4th visit) and was told someone would be stopping by my house ''later.'' sure enuff, 7pm this evening, i hear someone at the gate and it was the same guy that i talked with in the morning; a regular saint (working a twelve hour+ day and nite!)
Here in Barangay Tubtubon, Sibulan, I already received my QP yesterday (wednesday) from a Barangay official.
I just received an update for passes here in Daro. Because of limited passes, each “Purok” will share passes. In my purok, there are supposed to be 450 households. They will be sharing the 30 QPs allocated to them. We are supposed to go knocking on each other’s door to check if it’s our turn for the pass. Unbelievable.
