My Globe internet has an intermittent problem. Most of the time I can't connect, but when it does it is very slow. I am almost certain that it is just the supply feeding my house in Upper Batinguel, Dumaguete. Is anybody else experiencing a similar problem.

    I don't know.
Last Tuesday all Globe users in our compound (Dauin) were turned 'off' for 24 hours, no previous warning was given. At the weekend all Globe users were switched off again, this time from Friday night until Sunday night, no reason given. Hasn't happened before, makes we wonder if they are shutting down different areas at a time?

No probs here in Sibulan as of now. Best to call their hotline (02) 7730 1000 and have a technician look at it. We had some problems when we moved in a year ago and this hotline sent a technician right away.

My Globe connection is from the tower just north of town. The signal has been slow as slow for almost a week.
I switched from LTE (4g) to 3G and the service is actually better than the 4G. It seems everyone and their dog must have a 4g device. At 7 PM it's still hopeless.

Globe is at the top of my list for lying, cheating, thieving bastards.. I contacted them 3 months ago and told them my internet was so slow that half the time I could not connect. My tenants were also getting up me about the internet so I complained to Globe. They sent a team of people here to check things out, 2 technicians and 3 sales lady's.. They checked after I told them the system was evidently over subscribed and they checked and the technicians went to the box down the road and agreed there were to many people on the box. They suggested I needed another line, I agreed but told them in no uncertain terms I was not paying for it.. They said of course sir. To install a new line they said they needed a copy of my business license, I said my wife has it and is not home yet. So they called her and made arrangements to see her the next day at their office. She showed them the business license and they said they would install the new line the next day which they did.. My wife apparently signed another 3 year agreement so now I am paying for installation of the new system and billing for the new system and the old system.. Needless to say between the two systems both are a total waste of time.. I will not be paying any more bills and they can come and take the phones out and the wires.. My wife said they will take us to court if we don't pay the bills, I said no problem you pay the bills since you couldn't be bothered to read what you signed because you didn't have your glass's.. Globe should be shut down and Ayala's should be in jail for breach of contract to how many million subscribers.

Well Globe just pulled another card out of their hat. I had a pissing match with one of my tenants that my internet was not good.. so they said they would get their own. I didn't say yes or no either way as I am still looking for other options when lo and behold Globe shows up with a couple of guys and some wire.. I asked them what they were up to.. The said they were here to install a internet line, I asked on whose permission? I was told by the tenant. Ok strike 1. Second question? Where are you going to run the line?? To their room and we will hook up to the box on the pole just down the road from my gate. (exact box I have two barely functioning connections hooked to) Strike 2. Ok, now pack your sh*t and take off,, Needless to say my tenant was pissed right off.. or rather the "LADY" he is living with.. Globe must be taking bribes or really in a panic to increase their sales. Installation without the written permission of the owner is never done here in my 38 years. What happens if my tenants decide the new internet is not suitable and decide to leave, I guess I would be stuck with the bill,, not likely...My complaints with be going to the DTI on Monday, someone needs to take these clowns to task..
