The runway is completed, I think it's labeled "diversion road" on maps, going north from the Valencia Bacong road near the new bridge. In manila, pal and ceb-pac are strengthening the brakes and steering wheels on the A-320's. I saw a new bahay kubo in a field with a couple bamboo ladders at the side.... It's a surprise for all the politicians who bought up the land shown on the old drawing.... Since I saw the map in the Bacong engineer's office almost two years ago, I haven't looked for an update.
Ahhhh! OK. Looks like it IS going ahead. Should be a stockpile of AVTUR fuel cans around there somewhere if they havent overlooked that.
You know what went to Cebu couple of months ago and got excited when i saw a Burger King wow !!! ordered Hamburger the good one and it was terrible..My onion rings were not good at all Not excited about it anymore Mc Doos still has the quality and everywhere i travel it is good being a Mc Doo's
I know the feeling. There was a Wendy's in a mall in Manila. As soon as I saw the sign I started to drool. My single, cheese, everything, no ketchup was a horrible abomination. The frosty was okay. Dave Thomas would roll over in his grave if he knew what they had done. LoL
+ Basay already has an airport capable of handling big jets. Or it did. The years have left the runway in bad need of repair. But the possibility of a new airport in NegOr anywhere just flew out the door with the Pandemic.
I was told yesterday that they are in a hurry to build the new terminal and the Burger King so they can serve the hungry public as well as have an income from the other stores and services renting space in the terminal building so they have the money to build the runway which has disappeared with the purchase of face masks.
