I went to do my extension last tuesday week the 5th, went today to get passport, it wasnt processed, got my passport and fee returned to me was told they got a memorandum, no more processing in dumaguete, was told the memorandum was posted on the door (must have fell down), nothing there only the 2 and 3 year old notices, was told just pay at the airport ............manila must be screaming for money, no more money for the other Islands, all immigration money will be collected in Manila when leaving
elaborate on what .............immigration told me today, they got a memorandum from manila, no more extensions to be processed here, just present passport at immigration on your way out
i went in 2 weeks ago for a one month extension, cost 1380 pesos, i was advised the two month extension was 1830 pesos, so i took the two month option, i went in today to pickup passport (10 days later), was given passport and payment fee back to me, they got a memorandum from manila that no more extension to be processed in dgte, do it at airport when leaving.........she told me the memorandum was posted on the door for all to see ( i tried to mention, that its hard to see with all the two and three year old memorandums thats on the door/windows), but i played nice and thanked her and left.................plus the memorandum is not on the door
okay thanks, they will not process extensions when you are leaving but extensions for staying will resume after GCQ....
Really don't understand why they would suspend extensions but they did say so they didn't have too many people coming in when i picked up my passport on monday. I'm guessing they are hoping alot of the tourists will leave before resuming extensions in Dumaguete office. Sent from my SM-A207F using Tapatalk
Why do you pay this? I just drop and pick up a week later. I also do the 2 months, it is cheaper than the 6.
