Are you talking about those people sitting on their *sses in the shade under the tents along the road that rarely stops anyone? If so they seem to lack the motivation and drive you speak of in your original post...unless their goal was to completely dominate every plastic chair under cheap tents.

If they do have plans of world domination through this tent scheme here is how we fight back: when they stop us at a tent make sure we stop at least one meter from any shade and engage them in polite conversation to keep them in the sun as long as possible. I'm pretty sure they are vampires and cannot survive in direct sunlight for more than a couple seconds.
