Me too Jack...but I fancy a break now and again. The Turkish/Med’ ideas are appealing from previous contributors. Other worthy menches... beloved Kernow April/May, Green Spain in summer, Andalusia, loved Guatemala when I worked there, Essauaria in Morocco, practically anywhere there away from the 3 Pirates of Agadir, Casablanca and Marrakech; Oman during the wet season and well, my fondness for India is well known...the Andaman Islands, Lakshadweep isles, Kerala...Oct-Jan. I’d nip back for the peace n quiet pretty often to Siquijor. Must say it’s perfect for me too. Which district/baranguay are you building in?
I'd travel a lot and in the end get stuck somewhere for some reason. Oh wait, that's how I ended up here :D
China is one of the most interesting and Beautiful countries in the world, dont confuse the chinese regime and the chinese people, they are entirely 2 different worlds, if the regime was not there IMHO i would say that it would be the most visited country on earth, you could just live in beijing alone and visit a whole new place everyday there for years, and never ever ever be bored.
I would live in Vatican City and buy the Worlds largest sound system and blast prayers in some obscure Eskimo language, each prayer 29 minutes long, every half hour, 24 hours a day, 8 days a week. My home would be sound proofed about 6 stories down.
I've been living in Peace most of my life! But most places I have visited beautiful as they maybe, there's always been a draw back. Portugal has a lot to offer though, Turkey too, so long as you don't mind the call to prayer. Vatican City sounds a bit noisy unless you live in a bunker.
