We went to City Mall yesterday (Sunday) no pass no problem. Not very many people there so maybe not common knowledge (yet)
does anyone know if the duma border checkpoints are still controlling what day outsiders can enter the city? tnx...
Old and young stay home except for me. I grant myself an exception and choose to go out. Too bad, put me in jail. I will get a lawyer and sue for violation of civil rights. I will likely lose butWTF I am not going to be a prisoner.
Went to Sta Catalina and back today. No uniforms at checkpoints, just a few people lurking, looked like mostly waiting for a bus/easyride/jeepney.
Go out, no one will care if you are over 60... you may not get in the mall and some other places but get out and get some fresh air, no checkpoints !!
Going to be a whole lot of arrests if they ever tried to enforce it. Go out in Dumaguete, the old and young are every where, and there are no problems. I would not mind seeing some 'enforcer' trying to escort some older Filipina off the street. Talk about getting an earful.
The law gives the executive branch authority to do these things in the name of public safety and in the case of natural disasters/pandemics, so it is law.
