And I am agreeing with you - the whole control process worldwide IS farcical. So I am pointing out the need for people to take care of themselves, as I always have done.
i have always associated nose touching with eskimos. but you don't hear much about arctic covid these days
In only a matter of weeks, COVID-19 managed to spread from China to the entire world, including the seemingly out-of-reach High North. Like every other affected region, the Arctic faces its own challenges with the coronavirus pandemic. This is particularly true of the North American Arctic, which consists of Alaska, the northern parts of Canada, and Greenland. The Arctic, like much of the rest of the world, has a long history of dealing with global pandemics, with the Spanish flu being the most deadly.
But just read of a cat in the UK contacting coronavirus from its (human) owners - they now recommend NOT to kiss your cat! Btw, is that legal anyway? P.S. A common term for a cat in the UK (? and elsewhere) is 'p*ssy'. (Note: Due to the necessary controls here, my original version was changed to 'vagina' so I had to insert a * .... not the first time I have had to insert into p*ssy).
so i had to look farcical up although my intution was correct. however in looking up farce i learned one definition of that is for "forcemeat", the gooey mix you make with your meat grinder when making sausages (which i have done btw). so you no doubt have heard that you never want to see sausages or politics being made right? and since covid 19 seems to be largely political (to me at least) then it seems you have committed a "double entendre" by describing the whole process as farcical which might be another way of referring to the sausage/politics point of view. or maybe not. (i would agree it might be a bit of a stretch but gimme a break will ya, going crazy here as it is)
Using shared paper for anything is a no no. No menus , salt and pepper etc ketchup, and so on. One should have their own writing materials and not share with anyone. Carry your own sanitizer and use it regularly, as well as those provided by businesses which should be everyone including motorbike taxis, jeepneys etc. Wash hands as often as possible. That's it, really. So lucky here. Our whole country was tested, and we currently have 7 cases. We're only about 85000 inhabitants though.
IF you live in Andorra, your population is nearer 77,000 and you have had almost 900 cases to date of Covid-19 with 54 deaths.
In his "sort of" defense, he did say current cases, but even then it's not 7, and Andorra didn't test the entire country either (or they didn't report the tested number correctly). Moreover, even if they did test everyone, apparently that didn't help to prevent new cases, since July 15 the number of active cases went up from 7 to 62 as per August 4.
Yes, I had already worked out he said "current" and my reply took account of that. It seemed he knew very little about Andorra - and where is he now? Recently two people briefly visited this Forum - both used a similar construct for their names, both came up immediately with controversial postings, both soon disappeared.
