What I find very interesting, is that the first concept was from Angkas, a motorcycle taxi company. Hmmm, I wonder why they would be so involved when they should not be concerned at all. They should not operate until MGCQ is lifted and no barrier required.

MGCQ has no mandate over private transportation, a private motorcycle should be no different than a car. There is no rule for social distancing in a private vehicle other than PPE.

The continuation of double standards is nothing more than means of control.

The next level of mask enforcement for August 16 or September 1. This is what we will all look like walking around.

Plastic face shields are required on public transport from 15 August (despite the original 'with immediate effect' notice, but that's typical. Selling like hot cakes in town at P85-100 each (depending on length of nose). No doubt there will soon be a shortage of those. A quality replacement to consider would be a welding mask. Seen a couple of good ones in LSP basement. Could also double-up as stand-in for a Ned Kelly character.

Love the picture at the top of the article. That is no doubt the 'thorough technical testing' that the Government's own people have carried out. You can't see much to the left of the picture, but I assume there's a technical engineer behind the desk blowing as hard as possible.

The Government spokesman helpfully points out that motorcycles are already involved in many road accidents.....wooah!! News indeed! So it's OK to have a few more then.

No matter what anyone else who is eminently qualified to comment says, they won't lose face again by reversing this incredibly banal experiment.

This is the exactly what I tell others. They cannot repeal this idiocy until they can find another way out, otherwise the NIATF becomes an even bigger joke and loses any confidence there is left among the citizens.

or maybe, maybe, just maybe.. this is to distract people from talking about abs-cbn or the amazing terror law....?
there has to be some reason why this brilliant idea is been enforced.

for sure corona got nothing to do with it, i sleep with my wife but she can not be on the same bike without endangering our lives with some kind of bs?

come on, who believes that? even with one braincell you can not take this for what they say it is...

I think it is just because certain people are coming up with anything that will get attention from superiors. We've had tyre baths as normally used in livestock disease control, spraying motorcyclists and perhaps also pedestrians with disinfectant .... so have to think of something new to keep the wheel spinning.

Yeah, where did those tire baths go. The ones for 75% of the length of the tire.... I miss those days when the idiocy was at least not dangerous to ride in...

The spraying was already to much for me, will not let myself being sprayed and breath something i have no idea what it is and why they did it.
