It is a personal view, but I would have avoided buying a home within the area but I do realise that pure land owners may now lose out.
our house is about a mile from where it was to be built. Slightly disappointed that we can't just fly in and be home, and that larger planes that could have made a better, more direct flight won't happen, but thankful for the peace and quiet that will remain.
That is high for that property there.. you don't need to get far off the main road to find property for 200 to 250 a sqmtr. especially undeveloped coconut land is more like 150 sqmtr.
Not any more its not especially around this area. Maybe pamplona or sta catalina you will find at that price.
You will enjoy the peace and quiet 365 days a year (well, sort of - this IS the Philippines!) but only occasionally have a slightly longer journey to/from the airport at Sibulan - and you can enjoy the splendours of Sibulan at the same time. WIN-WIN!
What about Sibulan or between Sibulan and San Jose... Prices are what they are in Bacong, Dauin and Valencia is because the massive influx of foreigners, nothing else...
Been looking for almost 1 year now. Most land under 400P p/sqm I look at, is off kms of horrible barangay roads or title issues unless you are buying at least 5000sqm. The days of cheap land are over unless you are buying massive chunks. If you have some leads with costs you are speaking of, please forward to me, i'd be glad to have a look.
Big project means many opportunity to make money left and right, legal and not so legal. It got not so much to do with airplanes, even when it is called an airport.
GREAT NEWS If it can be believed. Last thing I want to see is this area turned into a Bohol Alona Beach style strip / Massage GO GO bar Korean style bad taste mess. Went back there last year as I remembered the place as quiet, good diving and dining, Boy was I disgusted!!
