Two people in my girlfriend's family are trying to get driver's licenses, they already have student permits. Dumaguete LTO is open but only taking reservations for licenses and reservations are backed up to December. One of the workers recommended going to Bais or Bayawan. Does anyone have any experience or advice on whether either of these places will issue a license and what the process is?

I heard that bais is not accepting new registration because it is 'full'.
No idea what authority told us this, via family and people trying to get around dgt lto also.

Renewals are also facing the same problem from what I have been told. Everything slowed down for months when they shut down the Country and its Services.

Thank you for the responses. Saves me a run up to Bais. I've heard there are people who can help bypass the system and get a license. If anyone is aware of someone like this please private message me.

Covid being blamed for a lot, 30 a day at BI, PLDT only see so many a day, i forget what their amount is my wife was there for hours on the 16th July to ask them to upgrade our internet after our free speed boost finished and they still have not done it, not going to queue again to ask why, seems they don't want our money.
I have been to the post office 3 times inquiring about a registered letter posted from the UK on 19th May, it's still in Manila, when will it be coming, we don't know.
Out of interest i asked if i could post some thing to the UK, no we are not accepting international mail. :banghead:
Why are they even open :bag:

I was at my postbox a week ago just because I pass by, then I went inside the post office and ask if they know anything about when they will start getting mail again. I was surprised when the lady told me 12. August mail will start arriving from Bacolod, mail will be sent from Manila over Iloilo to Bacolod, finally to Dumaguete. Last week the mail arrived in Iloilo they told me
