I think I also met that guy briefly when I got my EC last year. Telling me BS about "ah that might take some days". I just ignored him and waited for the guy really in charge, no additional "fees" paid.

I paid normal tax for visa extending but if I remember right I paid a small amount for the letter to Manila. I write the letter but you need advice from immigration to do it correctly and they send the letter to Manila for you
We did the affidavit already attached med. Cert. And all the extension . 150 for the mailing.. Good to hear that the fee is just equivalent to the normal tax. The lady in BI scared my partner she said to just be prepared amount 25k cause that's the fee one lady that go beyond the 36 month. Again thanks for the info. It's really a big help.
