    Their return policy SUCK BIG TIME, that is my point.

    That is what I wanted to do but HandyMan was not having any part of doing what was right and moral. Their policy seems to be screw the customer even if it is only for 3 pesos.

    She was not there during this :poop: storm, so all the embarrassment was on the store manager. Why didn't the manager do what was right in the first place before it got to this point? After all the whole thing was over such a small amount. It is one thing to take my money, my receipt, and keep the goods. Sending my wife out in tears is asking for an :mooning: whipping. I figured the manager got off light with just the embarrassment.

    Wife was not there during my verbal tung lashing of this manager. Her embarrassment, I sure, was enjoyed by most in the store at that time. I think she should have been fired. All this was not called for because she could have just done what was right in the first place.

    rather than just going to Handyman. Fat chance. Handyman is the last chance after the web.

    May be SOME Filipino will learn that it is O.K. to stand up for what is right and they do not have to leave the store with their tales between their legs and with out their money.

    I think you might have a better understanding if you went back and reread my post. I was talking about two different episodes.:shifty:

    I just run with the assumption that all sales are final in the Philippines. Saves a lot of headache.

    This thread started with my tale of woe trying to return an incorrect item to Shopee. Following my sounding off and threatening to cancel my account, they have now given me until tomorrow to return the item via 'a courier of my choice'. That's a kind of result, except they did not say whether I have to pay for it. I've asked that question, but no response yet. It does show that they will at least listen to reason though.

    It was a threat, but backed up with lots of reasoned evidence of failure.
