hey dutchie, the office next to immigration here in dumaguete will also process 13A locally. so you don't have to travel

 

the office here by immigration in dumaguete does 13A. they are licensed to do that by the department of immigration. much cheaper than traveling

 

Thanks for the tip, I will pass by there. Is this the office half way on the way to BI. (i guess so) Or the travel agency att he end of the alley?

I've also used the visa processing service a couple of doors before the BI office. Went in the afternoon. It was a breeze. No complaints at all.

 

To bad, they told me you still have to travel to Cebu City to visit their main office for something and this is not available now and probably not this year. Will just be a tourist untill we can travel freely again and then process in Cebu myself. Or at least, that is the plan now, will see how it all goes.

 

Talked to them the other day, As of now you have to go to Cebu only for Biometrics but they are in the process of trying to convince Cebu to use the Biometrics on file for your ACR card. She told me that they would contact me when this is accomplished hopefully this year.

 

I went there today with all my documents for the 13A visa and I also got told that they are trying to get Cebu to use the Biometrics on file. I have to go back tomorrow to sign all the documents that they are preparing for me.

 

Keep us posted here please, interesting. I did not get a feeling this will be possible any day soon but i did not take much time to understand the what and why's. She explained i still had to travel to Cebu and by that time i lost interest. Hopefully you guys have more succes one day.

I take my chance one day being able to travel easily again, maybe in 6 to 12 months and do it in cebu myself. But of course will change my mind if you guys are succesfull without travelling.
