Has the brownout been canceled? I saw a FB post indicating that a request was made to have it canceled, but it did not elaborate if it had indeed been canceled.
Premature, it was a request by the city council for it to be postponed. I think it will be approved. If a church can get one cancelled for a mass gathering I would think the city council would be able to convince them to cancel as well. I also think with the big wig politicians, given the loss of face with recent events, will be strongly pressuring for this request to be honored to prevent any further spread of the virus. The last thing they want to do is to go back to ECQ in Negros due to their own family's screw up. That's just speculation though.
Someone who has to comment a lot and always asks for a 'source', jumped the gun. Nothing on NORECO's website indicating this. Yes The Best clarified it as coming from the City. We will see. The PIATF, should be the one demanding this to be cancelled.
Don't own a gun here, agreeing with everything is boring, it fails to stimulate the debate and thought process.
I'm curious to see if they heed the call and cancel this thing. 3 days to make a decision. I say cancel the brownout or close all the resorts on Sunday, the PIATF has that power.
It is very difficult (I think, but unfortunately have no source!) to be part of stimulating debate and thinking if moved into endlessness by a gun. But otherwise, your post is most excellent Your Highness Sir Camper.
