The above posting surpasses my ability to write such descriptive information.
But I am still wondering about the man with the nail and stick or is that stick and nail ?

It is usually a wooden stick with a nail through it, used for such jobs as removing tiles (even from a floor), making holes in concrete - and probably other mighty tasks. In the UK you will be using steel chisels and bolsters plus hammer dills.

I heard they are arriving here in Phils in 2098.

(Not fair to professionals as some already have the gear).

Fortunately my builders of my 3 homes went through a time warp and jumped well into the year 3000. They use a nail clamped into vice-grips. Down side is I had to replace the vice-grips around nine times. If I build again I plan to allow them to resort back to the stick.

It's a special nail not any old nail and It's for penetrating concrete. He will look after his nail, sharpen it, polish it, sleep with it and cherish it for the rest of his life.

i remember the 1st time i saw a guy breaking up concrete with a nail in a stick and i pitied him but... after having some restoration concrete done at my place, i'm proud to say, i've added two such tools to my tool box 'cept i used a length of black poly pipe to hold the concrete nail. ya can't beat it for accessing electrical, plumbing or other fragile items embedded in concrete.

Concrete nails. That's what my Mason called them, I was scratching my head when I first heard him say (I need concrete nails)
