Agreed... gender is not the determining factor in Covid success. Those who govern with a sense of duty and compassion and an understanding of Science and who allow experts in the field of Epidemiology to guide them are indeed the determining factors ...
Well, at least your theory is evolving into something that begins to make sense; I agree with the understanding of science part but do not believe either gender has a monopoly on compassion nor do I believe compassion has much relevance overall. We need hard, cold science. Recently the WHO developed some well considered position regarding the effectiveness of lockdowns, to the point of condemning them. Are you familiar with that? Does your country follow WHO guidance? (USA does not unfortunately). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The gender of governors in the USA is irrelevant. They lack an important tool held even by governors in the Philippines, which is to close their borders to other states (or provinces). The governor of New York attempted to do this, literally to ban out-of-state license plates, during the height of the pandemic there. The governor of Rhode Island quickly shot him down. To isolate one of the 'united' states would violate the most basic law of the nation. For the U.S., praise or blame belongs largely to the federal government.
But in my house I am the boss and we have had no COVID. M No it doesn't. The federal government has very limited power over the states.
Florida population: 21.48 million Total COVID-19 Cases: 146,341 Cases Per 100K Residents: 681 Total COVID-19 Related Deaths: 3,447 Deaths Per 100K Residents: 16 Michigan population: 9.99 million Total COVID-19 Cases: 70,223 Cases Per 100K Residents: 703 Total COVID-19 Related Deaths: 6,161 Deaths Per 100K Residents: 62 Understanding is that deaths were greater because of the incidence of coloured deaths which has been seen to have improved considerably with resect to later figures. Otherwise I fail to see where the great difference is based on the per 1000 figures.
source ? my source is https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/ which is very different than yours
