    Hi all, wondering if anyone has ever shipped there own vehicle over to Dumaguete, mines a 2002 Toyota Troopcarrier, or Troopy as we know them in OZ, does the govt even allow right hand drive cars on the road......TIA

    Not sure about the right hand drive thing, but I was thinking of shipping a car over from the US back in 2006, I have a 13A resident visa, and the tax they would have heaped on me made me just buy a new one when I got here.

    I looked into this some time ago and was told that the car must be LHD or converted upon entry into the country

    When they hit you with the 300% duty of what they think its worth it will be cheaper to buy one here..
