    I just had a bunch of tile laid. My wife's brother and uncles own their own business and did it. I can figure out a contact number if you want to talk to them.

    Insist they use tile putty and not concrete when you do find the worker. In my builds I also 1st had laid water-proof bathroom concrete (It's white btw) just an added layer of value and protection from any un-foreseen water leaks.

    Is your statement above specific to bathrooms or the entire house?

    He meant tile adhesive.

    Here it is common to glue down tiles with sand-cement without soaking the tiles instead of the more expensive tile adhesive. Many have complained on this forum about tiles popping up.
