Yes, I know. The reason is that what they have done so far has not been done efficiently - so they have to keep repeating it.

But no problem - I read yesterday of a new warning to show responsible attitudes. That message was sent by the BoI to FOREIGNERS! Yes, we are the ones not following the rules, their own folk are perfect. If you create a mess then shove the blame onto the (mostly) innocent - and foreigners are the best scapegoat you can have.

It might be a warning to 'shut up', coz as we no, Filipinos are not much for complaining.

I actually think that the 2nd lockdown caused more harm, and there was no point in it

    I don't know.
    Interesting manipulation of the facts....
You conveniently mention Taiwan but you failed to mention China which is the most populous nation on earth. China has been able to manage the virus with "Restricting travel, testing and tracing". Furthermore Australia and New Zealand are doing well in addition to Taiwan. It appears to me that you are "selectively" choosing information to support a preconceived conclusion rather than evaluating the facts objectively and then making a conclusion.

Meanwhile China is working flat out producing products for the West. They have so much trade that there is not enough container ship capacity to deliver the goods. Surely you see this as a result of the successful implementation of "Restricting travel, testing and tracing"

A few countries acted early and were successful, Taiwan, New Zealand and China which is a very large country.
Never have you shown evidence that "if people had known masks do not prevent COVID, but should be worn to help contain the spread, made them aware of the risks groups, and asked them to choose their own fate." would have resulted in fewer infections.

There were many responses by many different countries. Can you find a country whose response supports your conclusions?

Submissive populations. If I say the blue corvette is faster than the red civic, you've been given two facts that point to a conclusion, and arguing that the color of a car doesn't affect the speed would be off topic, although most likely correct. There are few populations on Earth more controlled than the Chinese.

See above. Additionally, I dare say China's reporting probably isn't entirely accurate, to be kind.

No. There is no country that clearly communicated the facts to their populations, asked them to wear masks to reduce the spread of the infection, and relied on their citizens to protect those that needed protecting, that I'm aware of.
