    I wonder if once you have Sinovac jabbed, can one get Pfizer or Moderna in the future (assuming you survive Covid until Pfizer available here.

    I believe that to be so - and there may even be advantages in having two different vaccines.

    I do believe you have to have the two doses with a month of each other to be fully effective?

    I meant a second/different vaccine (example: mixing sinovac with Pfizer) not a second dose to make a person fully vaccinated. Everyone should have a chance to get fully vaccinated before people are allowed to start mixing vaccines.

    @Rye83 , Your reference to mixing vaccines, may have made the subject more confusing because it is becoming commonly accepted to mix vaccines for your second dose. Some studies show that immunity is better with a second dose that is different from the first. Though these studies usually have a better performing vaccine as the second dose.

    I think what @Rye83 meant to communicate is that after everyone has received their free two doses then people should be able to pay for the vaccine of their choice to use as a booster shot. Or in Rye's case his first two doses.
